No preference -- whatever you can do to keep your heart in it! I love reading your reviews. It connects us. I hope you find the pull and the passion to spill open.
I am ok with whatever you choose, maybe some guest writers too. This could take the burden off of you and give an opportunity to people who want the opportunity to write about art.
Thank you Lisa. I've thought about guest writers for a while. I'd like to be able to pay anyone who wrote a review. Although this Substack is financially supported, it's not quite enough to payroll other writers.
I think I'm going to do a mix of the options. I'll post twice a month, do a more indepth piece when warranted and short but lively posts when called for. They might come back to back or weeks between. It'll keep things fresh and fun ☀️
I crank these out week to week with no idea if they're having any impact. More revealing than a tech adjustment is this incredible outpouring of support. This alone inspires me to not only continue but with enthusiasm. I'm so grateful! xoxo
Kim, Any way you want to write, with the frequency and length that feels inspiring and timely to you is what I want to see. Don't grind things out unless that is what keeps you moving. If longer format motivates, I'd love to see that. If the cadence is two short, a gap and a long one, do that. Sharing your thoughts that inspired you to write is what I am looking for, not weekly diligence. <3
It's the grind that's been killing me. I'm thinking a blend of all the options, like you just laid out. Sometimes an in-depth post is warranted, sometimes a quick but lively post is what's called for. You're looking for the same thing I am! Thank you for your kindness, Ann, as well as your own creativity. This is what I love most about our community. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of it.
Thanks Steph. It's the frequency that's difficult. See a show weekly, take all the photos, edit, upload. Write it plus the links. If I want to take a trip I have to double down the week prior. It's a lot. If this were my only job, maybe. I want to keep my love for showcasing my community so I gotta create some breathing room.
I vote for you doing your posts any way you want. Thank you.
Thank YOU. xo
Do it please as you as I think these are good
Thanks Deb. I really love doing this. A small adjustment will make a big difference.

Thank you Ashely! I'll see what I can do to create passion and pull!
Whatever you choose will be fine with me!
And P.S. thanks for the nudge 😉

Understandable but don’t underestimate that writing on your blog offers an opportunity and your editorial skills which are worth a lot!!!

Based on the poll, your audience loves your writing no matter how it comes to us. Thanks for reaching out on this! xx

I've enjoyed your writings and reviews since the beginning. Keep it fresh, any way you choose...
Thank you Skip, for all your support. Fresh is key and I aim to get that back!

I enjoy seeing your posts often so maybe much shorter? Or if you’re really inspired you can write more. I love that you do this for the community

I hear you. Follow your head and your heart. I support you wholeheartedly no matter how frequent you post.
